It also supports Omada Mesh and Seamless Roaming, helping create a more flexible and consistent wireless network across multiple access points.

PoE+ Installation

The EAP653 supports 802.3at PoE+, allowing network data and power to be delivered through a single Ethernet cable. This can simplify ceiling installations by reducing the need for a separate power outlet near the access point.

It also supports 12V DC power, although the required power adapter is not included. The supplied mounting kits support ceiling and wall installation, with junction box mounting also available.

Centralised Omada Management

The EAP653 includes mounting hardware for standard ceiling or wall installation. A DC power adapter is not included, so installations using DC power will require a compatible 12V DC / 1.5A adapter. For PoE+ installations, connect the access point to a compatible IEEE 802.3at PoE+ switch or injector.
