The Dahua DH-SDT3E410-8P-MB-A-PV1 combines an 8MP panoramic camera and 4MP PTZ camera in a single IP66-rated security solution. Designed for wide-area surveillance and detailed target monitoring, it provides a 180° panoramic view together with a 10× optical zoom PTZ channel, allowing operators to maintain broad situational awareness while zooming in on activity of interest.

The panoramic channel uses a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens and delivers up to 5376 × 1520 resolution with a horizontal viewing angle of 180°. The dedicated PTZ channel uses a 1/2.8" Sony STARVIS™ CMOS sensor with a motorised 4–40 mm vari-focal lens, providing 10× optical zoom and 16× digital zoom.

Both channels are designed for demanding low-light environments, with minimum illumination down to 0.005 lux in colour mode. The panoramic camera provides 30 m IR and 30 m white-light illumination, while the PTZ channel extends IR coverage up to 70 m, with up to 30 m white-light illumination.

A key advantage of the SDT3E410 is its Smart Tracking capability. When the panoramic channel detects a relevant target using WizSense AI, the PTZ channel can automatically track and zoom toward the target, combining wide-area awareness with detailed evidence capture.

Panoramic Overview Camera

The 8MP panoramic channel is designed to provide continuous wide-area awareness. Its 5376 × 1520 resolution and 180° horizontal field of view allow a single camera to monitor a broad scene while the PTZ channel provides detailed target viewing.

The panoramic channel features a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 30 m IR illumination and 30 m white-light illumination. With WizSense intelligent detection and perimeter protection, it can identify relevant events and provide tracking information to the PTZ channel.

4MP PTZ Detail Camera

The dedicated PTZ channel provides the detailed view required when an object or person needs closer inspection. Its 4MP Sony STARVIS™ CMOS sensor is paired with a 4–40 mm motorised lens, providing 10× optical zoom and a horizontal field of view ranging from 58° to 11.3°.

At the 40 mm telephoto position, the supplied DORI figures reach up to 500 m for detection, 197.5 m for observation, 100 m for recognition and 50 m for identification.

The PTZ mechanism provides 345° pan and –10° to +90° tilt, with up to 300 presets. This allows the camera to be programmed for specific surveillance positions and automated patrol requirements.

Smart Tracking & AI

The camera's dual-sensor architecture allows the panoramic and PTZ channels to work together. The overview camera can detect an event across its wide field of view, while Smart Tracking can direct the detail camera toward the detected target.

The TiOC active deterrence system adds a proactive security layer to the camera. When configured for suitable events, the camera can use red and blue warning lights together with audible alarms to alert and deter unwanted activity.

The system includes 11 built-in sound alarms and supports up to 10 custom sound uploads, with configurable playback settings. The warning light can operate with different flash frequencies and durations.

Audio, Storage & Connectivity

The camera includes audio input and output options, with support for a built-in microphone and speaker. It also provides 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output for integration with compatible external security equipment.

Storage options include Micro SD cards up to 512 GB, FTP/SFTP and NAS. Network integration is supported through ONVIF Profile S, G and T, CGI, SDK and P2P, while the camera can be managed through DMSS and DSS Pro.

Power & Outdoor Protection

The DH-SDT3E410-8P-MB-A-PV1 supports both 12 VDC and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). Basic power consumption is approximately 12 W, with maximum consumption reaching 25 W when functions such as illumination, PTZ operation, heating, siren and warning lights are active.

The metal housing is rated IP66 and incorporates TVS 6000 V lightning protection, surge protection and voltage transient protection. The camera is designed to operate between –30°C and +60°C.
