The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW3849H-ZAS-PV-ANZ-S2 is an 8MP 4K TiOC 3.0 network camera designed for applications requiring high-resolution surveillance, intelligent detection and proactive security deterrence. It combines an 8MP 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, motorized vari-focal optics, Smart Dual Illumination, AcuPick and SMD 4.0 in a robust IP67-rated turret design.

With a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, the camera provides detailed 4K video suitable for residential, commercial, retail, warehouse and perimeter security applications. The 2.7 mm–13.5 mm motorized vari-focal lens allows the viewing angle to be adjusted according to the installation requirements, providing a wide field of view at the shorter focal length and a more focused view at the telephoto end.

The camera features a F1.0 maximum aperture and combines IR and warm-light illumination. IR illumination reaches up to 50 m, while warm-light illumination reaches up to 40 m, providing flexible monitoring in low-light and night-time conditions.

For intelligent security monitoring, the DH-IPC-HDW3849H-ZAS-PV-ANZ-S2 supports AcuPick, SMD 4.0 and IVS perimeter protection. Tripwire and intrusion functions support human and vehicle classification, helping security systems focus on relevant events rather than general movement.

As part of the TiOC 3.0 active deterrence platform, the camera incorporates red and blue warning lights, a built-in speaker and dual microphones. It supports two-way audio, allowing users to communicate with people at the monitored location or provide an audible warning when required.

The camera also provides 120 dB WDR, 3D noise reduction, BLC, HLC, Smart Illumination, electronic image stabilization and AI SSA to help maintain useful video across varying environmental and lighting conditions.

With H.265, Smart H.265+, Smart H.264+, AI H.265 and AI H.264 support, the camera provides flexible video compression options for different network bandwidth and storage requirements. Local recording is also supported through a MicroSD card up to 512 GB.
